sometimes you come across things that interest or intrigue you so much that you just have to share it with someone, whether it's because it makes you happy, makes you wonder, or just makes you feel smart. i'm not a talkative person, so a lot of these things go unspoken. my mission here is simply to get these things spoken.

rachel and i tried to take care of a baby bird last week. found it floating in the back of my dad’s truck (water builds up in the bed because it’s parked on a hill), so we tried to keep it warm and feed it. it didn’t really appreciate us, so when he dried off, he just ran away :(
